It was in Liam’s home studio in the 3rd floor “basement” of his apartment on Tianping Lu in the Former French Concession area of Shanghai, China, that he finished the recording sessions for Mother Lode. Here, between June of 2020 and January of 2022, he completed the instruments including most of the piano and guitar solos, recorded nearly all of the vocals, completed the editing, and made rough mixes of all the songs.
